The sandwich that I'm going to make from scratch has been fructified by my mind. If I had access to a smoker I'd make pastrami, but since I live in a cramped apartment with no backyard only an oven is available.The Old Scratch Sandwich is (cue 'Let's Go Crazy by Prince'):
A cajun roast beef sandwich on a ciabatta roll with sharp cheddar, pickled jalapenos, roasted red peppers and horseradish sauce.
