I myself celebrated with a hand-carved, lemon roasted turkey sandwich with Swiss and Russian dressing from the HBO Bistro.

The Swiss get along with everyone.

National Sandwich Day begs the question: "If you were a sandwich, would you eat yourself?"

Ten Commandments (In Progress)

1. Thou shall not cook cheesesteak on the same griddle used for cooking Italian sausage.
2. Thou shall not charge more than $8 for a sandwich (to be adjusted for inflation yearly). A sandwich is a proletariat meal and should not be subjected to the whims of the bourgeoisie.
3. The bread is the most important component of the sandwich. The difference between a good and a bad sandwich is determined primarily by the quality of this single element.
4. Thou shall not have to wait in line longer than it takes you to eat the sandwich.
5. Thou shall not place sandwich meat within sneezing distance of the customer.
