McRib Redux

While driving up to Massachusetts with the family, we made a roadside stop at McDonald's for a quick bite and diaper change. I relished the opportunity to have another McRib.

This time it wasn't as good. The symphony of pickles, onion, and sauce wasn't has harmonious this go round. Without the support, the McRib ground pork patty really failed to stand alone. Again, I think it's too mushy.

But it looks like I'm not the only one out there with an unhealthy fascination with McRib. It was the main profit driver for McDonald's this past financial quarter.

A a high-risk/high-reward gamble. Well played, Ronald.

  1. I heard that woeful sounds in the background of "Meat is Murder" are the sounds of grimaces being led to slaughter. not funny and kind of sad.
