My in-laws found an awesome butcher in Woodside, Queens called Ottomanelli Butcheria. Apparently there are other Ottoamanelli outposts throughout the city.
We had some skirt steak from there which was fantastic.
This bodes well for some homemade sandwich making a la Old Scratch in the near future.
