Everyone loves a good sandwich. The bytes and bits found in this corner of the digital domain are devoted to all things hero, grinder, hoagie, sub, cheeseteak, panini, or otherwise sandwich-ey. New York City is the focus, but all geographic areas are happily discussed. NOTE: This site is borough-agnostic.

Monkey See, Monkey Do
Democracy in action!
I've posted a few places that I've been for a good sandwich. Now I'd like to know, what is your favorite place to get a good sandwich?
All submissions will go 'On the Radar', which I use as my 'To Do' list for seeking out destinations.
Well, you've already got City Sub in the hall of fame. Brooklyn Larder makes unassuming-looking but delicious sandwiches, but the price is steep. Columbine in Tribeca and Olive's in Soho are two of my favorites - definitely on the chi-chi side, but super tasty. And I just read a review for No. 7 Sub in the Ace Hotel that sounds awesome!

ReplyDeleteMuch appreciated, especially looking forward to No. 7.
ReplyDeleteBierkraft does sandwiches with their fancy cheeses and meats. Homemade beer and a table to eat it at!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Bierkraft. Had both beer and cheese, but no sandwich!
ReplyDeleteMeant to say had both beer and cheese there, but never a sandwich. Looking forward to it.
